How is WorkDesk different from other time trackers?
WorkDesk records the workday automatically and keeps attendance, shifts, leave and payroll in the same product. Employees see what is recorded about them in a privacy center.
Where do these comparisons come from?
Each tool’s own website: its pricing page, feature pages and help center, checked in October 2026. Where a site does not say whether a feature exists, the table says so instead of guessing.
Does WorkDesk run on Mac or Linux?
Not yet: the desktop app is for Windows 10 and 11. Managers and employees use the web dashboard from any browser.
Can I try WorkDesk before paying?
Yes. The free trial has every feature and needs no card.
