Who we are

WorkDesk provides time and activity tracking software to companies (our customers). Each customer decides what WorkDesk records about its employees; for that data the customer is the controller and WorkDesk processes it on their behalf.

What we collect

Account details: name, work email and role. Work activity, as configured by your employer: working and idle time, the applications and websites in use, and, if enabled, screenshots. Leave, schedule and attendance records entered in WorkDesk.

For customers: company and billing contact details.

How we use it

To provide the service: dashboards, reports, payroll and alerts for your employer, and your own view of your work. To keep the service secure and working. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Your visibility and choices

Employees can see what is recorded about them in WorkDesk’s privacy center. Requests to access, correct or delete data go to your employer, who manages it; we help them answer.

Retention

Activity data and screenshots are kept for the period your employer sets, then deleted. When a customer leaves, their data is deleted after the notice period in our terms.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and sign-ins and administrative actions are logged.
